Another Successful Sally's Ride Weekend!
Fun Events, Warm T-Shirt Weather, Wonderful Volunteers!

Steve Waller photographed some of the weekend high points. There are three separate slideshows (Saturday Morning Fun Show, Saturday Afternoon Trail Ride, and Potluck & Basket Raffle ) with over 100 images that can be viewed and downloaded.
Brandi Rolling hosted a Fun Show with five events on Saturday morning: egg and spoon, ride a buck, musical hoops, trot race, and a team obstacle course.

It was a family affair during the team obstacle course.

There was quite a last minute rush to register just before Sally's Ride. Good thing registration is in the horse barn since these riders brought their horses with.

Sally Paajanen's parents brought a dish to share and participated in the evening's fundraising activities.
|
Despite the sweltering heat, fifty-three people participated in the Sally's Trail Ride Saturday afternoon. Riders picked either a six mile loop or a twelve mile loop.

There were several tractor rides to the new UPAWS building site located just north of the fairgrounds.

So much great food to dig into. So many great people to talk to.

There were many winners during our bucket raffle on Saturday evening after the potluck. our vice-president, Madeline Zimmerman, won the first basket of the evening.
